Meet the Team
These incredible ladies have dedicated hours of their resources and free time to advance women in the pest control industry. This team's desire is to pay it forward by encouraging women across the globe to excel and be the very best version of themselves. Whether it be in personal lives or business careers, each woman needs encouragement, love and support. That's what WIPC is all about.
Founder & CEO
Bobbie is the Owner/Operator of The Bug Lady pest control company. She founded WIPC with the vision of creating an exclusive women's pest control group, providing a safe space for us to engage without the ridicule or bullying that often occurred in larger, mixed-gender pest control forums. The group's purpose is to foster constructive feedback and meaningful discussions. She never anticipated the overwhelming response and significant growth it has achieved today.
COO
Nanette is the Owner/Operator of Praying Nantis Pest Control. Since day one of finding out about the group, she's wanted to be a part because of all the compiled knowledge there is and wanted to share the help that she received since joining the group.
"Buggin" Magazine Editor
McKenzie Futrell
McKenzie is currently a student at Columbus Career and College Academy. With a unique blend of interests and experiences, she has been actively involved in the pest control business for approximately three years, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication. In addition to her professional pursuits, McKenzie serves as the leader of the poetry club at her school, where she fosters creativity and expression among her peers. An avid lover of the arts, McKenzie enjoys engaging in various creative activities that allow her to explore her artistic side. Known for her infectious smile and positive demeanor, she brings warmth and enthusiasm to every room she enters. Always open to new ideas, she embraces opportunities for growth and learning, making her a dynamic presence both in and out of the classroom.
Social Media Coordinator
"Tee" is the Owner/Creative Director of Urban Knack Virtual Administrative Services. Her best friend introduced her to WIPC at the 2024's conference and she immediately fell in love with the community. While her business is not pest related, she has come to have a major respect for women in the pest control industry. She feels that the work they do in support of not only pest control but of each other made her desire to find a space among them and help give back!
Website Designer
Jennifer is the Owner/Operations Manager of ACI Pest & Lawn Solutions and is the Owner/Lead Photographer of Sparrow's Heart Photography and Design. While she's been a part of ACI since she and her hubby started it in 2002, she has recently taken on a more active role and knew she needed some outside help to get her bearings. She started joining a few Facebook pest control groups to do so. On her very first post, she got ripped apart, chastised and blamed for the issues they were experiencing at that time. The guy was such a jerk, she almost walked away from all the pest control groups she had joined. Bobbie saw the post and reached out to her, suggesting she join WIPC. She decided to give it one shot. She had severe doubts it would be any different. She soon realized, she had NEVER experienced a more kind, giving, helpful and wonderful Facebook group in the entire time she had been on the platform! Since she has created multiple websites for both her photography and pest control companies, she figured this would be a great way to give back and support other women in this industry. She feels incredibly blessed to be a part of this amazing organization!
